Process Instrumentation Controls
- Adsorbent Chamber Control System (ACCS)
The Honeywell UOP Adsorbent Chamber Control System (ACCS) is a proprietary control system package designed and built to provide optimal control of Sorbex™ processes. UOP has over 120 ACCS units installed worldwide with proven operating experience. A global network of technical support services backs UOP’s processes and products. - Catalyst Regeneration Control System (CRCS) Retrofit
The Honeywell UOP Catalyst Regeneration Control System (CRCS) performs the key functions of monitoring the catalyst regeneration to ensure optimum process performance and ensure isolation of the hydrogen and oxygen environments involved in the various catalyst transfer and regeneration steps. UOP offers CRCS retrofits that provide customers with control systems designed to improve existing operations to most efficiently meet business goals. - Drier Regeneration Control System (DRCS)
UOP continuously improves our control systems and proactively takes steps to ensure that improvements are implemented in our standard control system design. With the pace of technology advancements, system components are becoming obsolete more quickly. Honeywell UOP DRCS retrofits improve existing Penex and Butamer operations to more efficiently meet your business goals. - Lock Hopper Control System (LHCS) Retrofit
The Honeywell UOP LHCS retrofit design employs the latest technology in critical control. The system captures the most beneficial enhancements from current CCR regenerator control system technology. Features such as hot shutdown state, white burn inhibit mode and regeneration burn zone temperature protection have been incorporated into the LHCS retrofit. These new features provide both operational benefits and enhanced troubleshooting tools.
Reactor Internals
Honeywell UOP has continually improved CCR Platforming unit reactor design since its inception. UOP’s CatMax™ Platforming Reactor Internals use a more robust and lower cost punch plate scallop design to replace traditional basket designs. These punched plate scallops offered many advantages over the screen basket, including easier installation and maintenance, improved mechanical durability and catalyst containment and lower cost and weight.
Rotary Valve Upgrades
With the complexity of rotary valves, upgrades can improve functionality, maintain equipment reliability and uptime, which increase profitability and help make maintenance tasks safer and easier. UOP is proud to offer rotary valve upgrades that give customers additional options and features designed to improve their operation and efficiently meet customer goals.
Tubes & Trays
High performance trays and packings and enhanced surface heat transfer tubing bring benefits in many applications including distillation intensive complexes for the production of para-xylene and propylene. As a leading supplier for half a century, UOP’s high-performance trays and enhance heat transfer technology allow you to minimize capital expenditures, plant footprint and operating cost for grassroots plants. You can also maximize utilization of existing plant assets by increasing unit throughput and optimizing energy usage.
