Why is energy storage such a critical area of innovation?

Energy storage is the key enabling technology that allows us to transition to renewable energy. The sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't always blow, so if you really want to maximize that renewable energy, you need to find a way to store and use it when you need it.

What is your personal connection to sustainability?

My family is really close to the mountains and we back out onto a pond, too, so we get to see nature behind us all the time. It would break my heart to know that would be gone if we didn't do something.

What does being a Futureshaper mean to you?

For me, a Futureshaper is working to make world a better place, for us, for our children, and the generations that come after.
