Meet a #futureshaper: Jun Ai

Jun Ai never imagined she would be in the role she is now, but she has always been open to new challenges and opportunities.

As a manufacturing director in Asia, it is her responsibility to lead a group of people who help produce and deliver high quality products to customers, and most importantly, she makes sure employees and plants are safe and in compliance.

Based in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China; here is her #futureshaper story.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was young I wanted to be a teacher.

What gets you excited about going to work every day?

Working as a team! Our team has a clear goal daily, monthly and yearly and to achieve this shared goal our team works together, grows together and encourages one another.

If you were a fortune reader, what would you predict as the future of your industry?

The industry will be faced with finding new sources for energy and it will take some time to ensure the new energy is safe and sustainable to use, but it will happen.

In your eyes, what qualities does a #futureshaper possess?

Be ambitious, think big and be your best.

What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

Be fair and respectful, follow your core value and your heart.

When you are not working, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy cooking for my family, going on family vacations, and playing badminton with family and friends.
