Meet a #futureshaper: Hubert Mydłowski

Hubert Mydłowski is responsible for helping make buildings more comfortable for people and better for the environment.

“We create building systems that make buildings more comfortable, safe and energy efficient,” Hubert said. “Every day I get to see our work on my way to the office, that is exciting!”

Based in Warsaw, Poland; here is his #futureshaper story.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an athlete.

What brought you to Honeywell?

I came to Honeywell as part of requirements for university. I heard Honeywell was a well-known global company where I would have exciting opportunities and diverse projects that would challenge me and help me develop.

If you were a fortune reader, what would you predict as the future of your industry?

We will live in a connected world where all anomalies of our environment will be detected and fixed. This will make life better. The focus will not only be on the control systems we create, but on the people and how we help make their lives better.

In your eyes, what qualities does a #futureshaper possess?

A #futureshaper should focus on what the needs of the community are and how to meet those needs.

What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

Do what you like with passion. Be patient.

When you are not working, what do you do for fun?

When I am not working I like to participate in motocross, tennis and go to the gym.
