Tell us about your career path and what led you to this industry or type of role.

"I started my journey at Honeywell as a tech professional in 2019 as a manufacturing engineer. I began developing my expertise in supply chain management, moving from engineering and logistics to planning, operations and maintenance, and eventually became a manufacturing supervisor. Three years later, I secured a larger integrated supply chain (ISC) role as a plant manager. 

I am glad to have progressed in my ISC career path, as Honeywell works towards localizing its ISC capabilities in the region, which also supports Saudi Vision 2030. In this way, I feel that I have not only been helping Honeywell achieve its goals but also supporting Vision 2030, by helping to diversify Saudi Arabia’s economy and advance local manufacturing."

What advice do you have for someone early in their career who wants to pursue a similar path?

"Be committed to delivering big business plans with no fear of failure. The Honeywell environment promotes self-learning and knowledge-sharing, so always ask about what you don’t know and lead the process until you get the information you need. Keep learning to keep growing in your career by building a skillset that qualifies you for larger roles within the organization."

What should people know about the impact of your work on the future of building automation?

"I run a factory where we manufacture and test advanced building management systems that enable building monitoring from anywhere, anytime—whether for one facility or hundreds. I bring world-class automation technologies to customers in the region, helping them make buildings future-ready in Saudi Arabia. We use automation to optimize operational efficiency and transform buildings through digitalization."
