Overview:

The SKST Selection tool is an application that allows you to configure a bill of materials for conventional and addressable Silent Knight panels. Features and functions include:

  • Enter and save project information
  • Select and edit parts from th​e catalog
  • Generate a bill of materials
  • Export your bill of materials to MS Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Determine battery size by creating battery calculations based on your configuration
  • Print groups of data sheets for submittal packages

2.0 Updates

  • New products added to the tool include:
    • Addressable FACPs – the 6000 Series (6700, 6808, and 6820).
    • Intelligent smoke and heat devices – the SK-W Series (includes bases, trim rings, and color kits)
    • SWIFT wireless devices – users can now configure a wireless network by adding a Gateway (WSK-WGI) and applicable SWIFT wireless devices
    • 4-Wire L-Series notification appliances
    • Cellular Communicators – CELL-CAB-SK and CELL-MOD
    • ANN-100 annunciator, SK-NIC Network Interface Card, SK-FML and SK-FSL Fiber Optic Modules
  • Corrected a problem with printing all data sheets from the Bill of Materials screen

Version 2.0 HOT FIXES

  • Symptom: When attempting to export Battery Calculations you get the following error: Runtime error '91' object variable or with block variable not set. This error is caused by an improperly configured battery calculation file and a configuration containing external power supplies like the 5499.

Instructions:

  • Download hotfix file and unzip.
  • Make sure SKST is not running.
  • Copy over the BatteryCalc.xlsx file over the existing file that was installed on your computer. You can find this file in the default location of C:\Program Files (x86)\Honeywell Silent Knight\SKST\Battery Calculations.
  • When prompted click yes to overwrite the existing file. Give admin permission if prompted to overwrite the file.
  • Restart SKST and attempt to run the battery calculation again.

Download Instructions

  1. Click the Register Now button to register and download the latest version of SKST.
  2. After registering for SKST, click on the Download Now! Button to download the latest version of SKST.​
  3. Save the SKST2.0_Setup.zip file to your PC.

Installation Instructions

  1. Extract and run SKST2.0_Setup.exe and follow the installation prompts.
  2. If prompted, reboot your computer.
  3. When finished installing, you can delete the installation file.
