Control and Safety Segregation
CCC safety systems are designed in accordance with Machinery Protection Standard API 670, which requires separation of control and protection systems.
Integrated Overspeed and Surge Detection
According to Machinery Protection Standard API 670 5th Edition, if specified, the surge detection system and/or emergency shutdown system (ESD) may be combined with the overspeed detection functions in a single system.
Guardian SDS implements this integration architecture and execute overspeed protection and surge protection for up to 3 compressor stages in the same device.

Overspeed Detection Modernization

CCC surge detection methods are based on API 670 requirements and extensive knowledge in compressor surge measurement. Ensure surge-free operation for your critical axial and centrifugal compressors.
CCC Pro Built Safety Systems
Guardian ODS delivers certified overspeed protection with IEC 61508 SIL-3 compliance and API-670/API-612 standards. It features advanced monitoring with three independent speed modules and 2-out-of-3 voting redundancy. Ideal for industrial rotating equipment requiring stringent overspeed protection.
Guardian SDS combines surge and overspeed protection in a single, SIL-3 certified device. Surge detection can be set for either 2-out-of-3 voting or 3 independent modules for up to 3 compressor stages. This system is perfect for compressor and driver needing dual-function protection.
EAS3 is a reliable surge detection system, offering an easy drop-in upgrade for CCC legacy Series 3 Emergency Antisurge (EAS), without requiring cabinet or wiring modifications. It enhances protection by automatically controlling the recycle valve if the primary controller fails. Ideal for cost-effective, reliable migration of existing compressor surge detection.
