Answers to Keep Your Property Running Smoothly.

Many hotel rooms go unrented at any given time. Our occupancy-based energy management system (EMS) is designed to give you the capabilities to control and automate smarter guestroom HVAC energy use.

Traditional thermostat

A traditional thermostat without a built-in motion sensor doesn’t provide basic occupancy detection and therefore cannot contribute to guestroom energy savings.

Standalone EMS

An occupancy-based, standalone EMS is designed to give you the ability to control and automate guestroom HVAC energy use at a basic level.

Integrated room automation system

Integrate a door sensor or lock for advanced detection to help reduce energy consumption. Lights and humidity can also be integrated for further efficiency.

Networked EMS

Integrate each guestroom EMS with your property management system to automate deeper setbacks in unrented rooms.

Honeywell INNCOM devices can interface with a wide range of third‑party systems – including property management systems, electronic locking, blind control, minibar reporting and more – through INNCOM drivers and open‑protocol interoperability. This enables hotels to unify diverse room technologies under a single automation platform for monitoring, control and workflow optimization.

Most INNCOM thermostats can serve as your hub for guestroom IoT, using RF communication and built-in network architecture to connect a broad array of third-party devices via our FastPack API.

The INNCOM Deep Mesh Network provides a redundant, more secure communication architecture that reduces wiring requirements while supporting a large fleet of integrated room devices. This architecture is designed to improve system survivability, lower maintenance demands and help provide consistent performance across complex hotel environments.

This includes autonomous networking through the INNCOM Deep Mesh Network, advanced RF technology connecting thermostats and lighting to energy management software.

Data is routed across the wireless network in near real-time, so you can control and monitor every device. Data is isolated and kept in a protected environment. If a thermostat goes offline due to maintenance or defect, the system reroutes to help keep other devices online.
